Christmas In Iraq

I'm dreaming of a sandy Christmas...oh wait I'm not dreaming, oh well. Hey everyone, I thought I would start out with some humor to help with the dreary day today here. It is the rainy season here, and everything is just sloppy. It doesn't just have one good rain here, it is a whole week event, or so it has been about a week now. The rain is just a constant drizzel, just enough to get you wet, but not anything really to get excited about. The elections went off well, no attacks in our area, but wouldn't you know it just two days before Christmas those guy's had to hit us with some Rockets. Don't worry nobody got hurt, so it's just one of those things you have to deal with and move on. Like everything in the Army more change is comming, we are going to be moving. I can't say when or where on here for security reasons, so I am just asking everybody to get their packages or letters sent no later than the first week of Jan. when I have my new address I will send out an e-mail to everyone. Thank you all for the packages and letters, everyone has been very generous. One side note for those who want to contribute towards the ipod, Rachael is in charge of that and has ask'd that a Best Buy gift card be sent to either our address or my mothers (everybody should have one or the other) and just address the envelope in my name.
